I had a great time last night, got there at 7.10 but no1 got in till bout 7.20 had a great time dancin away lots of friendly people and there was alot of room which was nice as ziggys can get packed out v easily but i agree that there were alot of chavs there and when TDK came on it sounded like the system went quieter.

Saw the Tidy DJs around the place but dunno if they played at the event or not all though they were advertised there

Left at 12 didn't go to after party.

But will deffo go to the one in Augest and future Harder Timez events and this hasn't put me off

looks like i didnt waste a trip then! maybe the venue wasn't right? my mate is from york and she couldnt believe a tidy event was goin on at this venue... maybe this is why she didnt fancy goin and knew it would be full of chavs? lol.

also...it was wierd how the room was so empty yet it was so ridiculously hot

It was a fab sound system with great variety of music at both venues. No one to blame cause of a few chavs causing problems, but great night, will go to next gig.

chavs school disco

here here, not only was it a bit of a shit venue but the fact they didnt have the propper licensing to put on kutski or the tidy djs was shit, on top of that wat is the need to put the after party so far away? i walked all the way there, found it closed and then walked all the way back, gutter. On top of that earlier sum1 nicked my phone then actually seemed annoyed at me wen he gave it back?!? Part frm that music was gd, + got talkin to one of canniest blokes av met named Garry.

most comical part of my nyt was wen my mate hus standin with his arm round kym ayres pipes up and says "uno that kym ayres, she is a bit of a one trick pony" hahaha

That venue is shit problem is there isn't really anywhere in York to put nights like this on Ziggy's is good and I really enjoyed the last night, the Hardstyle special with Isaac is going to be mental and I wouldn't miss it for the world. The thing is Wayne just wants to put nights on and the college was the only place to do it at the time, he's not thinking about how the venue may effect the reputation of Harder Timez nights he just wants to put banging parties on in a place where there has never been anything like it. He's never charged stupid prices for tickets and tbh hardly makes fuck all money and just does it for the cheer love of it which is something I greatly admire. The next night looks quality and is at a proper venue with IMO a far better and more banging line up so you shouldn't really pass judgement on Harder Timez nights unless you attend a night at it's regular venue.

As for chav's why the fuck do they do it. Unfortunatley you cannot reason with these people you have to show them which generally involves you getting into a fight which just spoils the night anyway. It takes time to try to build a scene in a city but sound cyber ravers aren't going to flock in their droves with degenerate chav scum everywhere as long as they stand in a corner and jump up and down everytime 'shooting star' come on it's ok but why fight?

Anyway next nights going to be amazing I've never seen Organ Donars or DbD.

The event had been granted its extended license but due to the fault of the college not having the paper work which they only informed me at 8.30pm on the night that they couldn't stay open later than their normal license time. That night had been applied for and granted but they had to have the paper work to show. I tried negotiating to at least keep the music on till 1 but the principle said she was not willing to take the risk of a 20,000 fine. This was a really stressful point for me thinking was the best thing was to do. I rang kutski and asked if he would play a 2 hour set at the afters. I went staight to the junction to see if we could open earlier and also reduced entry by half price even though i knew that would of ruined the budget for the after party. The tidy djs had been payed already and were willing to play at the afters but due to some imature people fighting this ruined the chances of it staying open all night of which then i offerd every 1 a refund. I really do not see the point in fighting at events as people are their to enjoy themselves and it was due to a very small minority who made things close early. I sincerely apoligise for the earlier closure of the event and did try to keep things open.

I was back and forth all night trying to resolve these venue issues of which only got put up on me at last minute. I was suppose to be playing that night but didn't even get chance due to me trying to keep things going and the stess i had been put under.

123 pounds and 89 pence was raised in respect for steve o brady (of which 100 pound i donated myself)

Every 1 i spoke to on the night said they were enjoying themselves and the vast majority of people at the afters were even kind enough to say they didn't want a refund cause they enjoyed themselves and knew the closer was unprevenatable. The overheads of the event was really high and even though they were not reached i was still happy cause every 1 seemed to be enjoying themselves. Even Andy whitby said he enjoyed playing and it was a good vibe. But reading a couple of comments on here has upset me to see how they felt as the main point of these events areto know every 1 has had a good time. The feed back from regulars and photos was good but since coming on here its harsh to know the sheer amount of hours spent on the event has not made every 1 happy. I just wish that there had not been the fighting at the afters as the time i spent resolving the earlier closure of the college wouldn't of hardly been noticed. I once again apoligise for the certain individuals who did this

Hat's off to ya m8, we thought it was an awsome night!! It is a shame that some dickheads have to ruin some parts of it. All in all the main event was mint & the tunes were quality. Its jus trial and error and peeps should have more respect for what your doing! looking forward to the next 1
