Yep, that right, we've come to that point in time, people are off to leeds, etc etc, so unfortunity the contiunation of uprooted is at an end, well for the forseable future anyhow!

So we are rolling out this one last event this friday!!!

Come down and celebrate what has been a great 2 years ( well for uprooted 1 and a half ) of regualr underground music events for the bass junkie!

also anyone that aint twigged, TINNITUS has finished (second birthday bash was the last one), again, promoters, organisers etc have moved on, and it's become impossible to run these events.

Sorry to hear that - Always had a good night at Tinnitus, never made it down to uprooted shamefuly - fancied checking it out, always heard good things - In fact from what i had heard it seemed to be going from strength to strength

Can understand tinnitus the numbers were dwindiling towards the last few months - the hunger for D&B seems to have died of in york at the mo

Why has it become impossible to run the events? Whats the main reason?

Numbers at tinnitus had swaped with the numbers of uprooted last year, and vice verca, when one does well the other struggles! doing two a month is unsustainable.


Promoters! is proberly the the main reason, tinnitus promo has diped a lot, and uprooted is losing some members to uni life, i simple can't poster and flyer town every other day for two events, plus flyer and poster opertunitys have drastically decreased. Without the "team" to promo and run these events it'll become impossible.

Dude why dont ya try the speakeasy. Ive seen flyers for bassline and hardcore nights on a friday and sat and both them attract chavs. So i cant see them having a prob with d&b

This has been mentioned. So we will see, however i believe we are gonna leave things till the new year, i for one need a bit of a rest from it all.

Cheers for letting us know tho, didn't realise the manager had given into dj nights on a weekend, may be worth investigating this further.

Also we dont tend to attract the charvers, and i dont intend to, no offence but chavs bring trouble. haha
