Paradigm is a new night born out of a shared love for both Underground Drum and Bass and Hard Techno, also fusing a love for the friendly festival vibe found at places such as Glade, Shamania, Womad and Cabbage.

Kicking things off on the 16th May at Thomas's Bar in York we bring you 3 rooms of high quality entertainment.

Headlining the Drum and Bass room we have DJ Loxy myspace.com a household name in Drum and Bass circles and one of the original leaders of Dark Drum and Bass, with countless releases plus residencies for prestigious labels Renegade Hardware and Metalheadz amongst others, including his own label Cylon Recordings and Xtinction Agenda (wich he co runs with Keaton). Not one to keep still Loxy keeps on pushing the boundaries of Drum and Bass, evident in his recent collaborations with Resound myspace.com Supporting them we have York night Tinnitus's own Dark side soldier DJ Brownsoundz, Danny Ross, Dust and Smash. On microphone Duties we have the up and coming lyrical talents of Kritikal myspace.com and Little gritty myspace.com

The Techno Room brings you DJ Glowbones from the highly respected Riff Raff held at the Leeds West Indian Centre, expect serious NRG and Hard Techno of the highest grade. Support comes from Just Martyn aka Mart Rob from the established Northern Uproar plus residents Mike Williams and Hy-Phen. Sound for both rooms provided by the mighty Rudeboy Logic.

If thats all a little too much make your way to the Chill out room for some Refreshment, expect Ambient Music provided by the Pandora's Box'd Sound System, Organic and Herbal Teas, Healing, UV Decor provided by Gin Jelly and the wonderful visuals of the Herbal Mafia's own NNTT. We will also be raising funds for the Lambi fund of Haiti lambifund.org
