Over the past 2 years we have been a versatile promotion providing a wide range of hard dance, giving clubbing the best variety of the harder side of clubbing. On the hard house side we have brought you names such as Lisa Pin Up, Paul Glazby, Andy Whitby, The Tidy DJs, Steve O Brady. On the hard trance side - Mark EG, Nick Rafferty, Kym Ayres, Mzone, Topgroove. On the hard core side - Scott Brown, Sy, Stu Allan, Squad-E, Paulo. On the hard style side - Alex Kidd, Kutski, Dark By Design, Organ Donors, Tdk and now, for one of the first times ever in England, the Dutch leader himself ISAAC


We have also been versatile in our venue selection. Having hosted events at Toffs nightclub, The Riley Smith Hall, Ziggys nightclub, The Empire, Askham Bryan College, The Dome, The Barbican, The Junction and The Warehouse.


We have done joint events along side some of the UKs biggest promotions such as Sundissential, Tidy and Diztruxshon


Now as part of the 2nd birthday celebration we are taking things one step further by flying in 1 of the worlds BIGGEST hard style DJ/producers. Fresh out of Holland expect nothing less than what you have come to know from the Sensation Black / Q-Dance events which are among the biggest events in the world!

This DJ is being flown in from the Netherlands exclusive to Harder Timez and nobody else. Not only a treat to be playing in York but a perk for the UK, FULL STOP. Goodgreef brought you Luna and Lady Dana. Tidy brought you Zany. Bionic brought you Showtek and Technoboy. Sanxion brought you Activator and now Harder Timez brings you the 1 and only, the Dutch legend, the world famous, Isaac. My words can not possibly explain how big this DJ is. So to put it in to more of a perspective for you I have put some links below to watch him. Dark By Design aka Gaz West is 1 of the UKs leading hard style/hard trance DJs. In the hard dance awards this year he won the gold award for the being the best re-mixer in Great Britain. That's twice he has won it now. There are not many producers in the UK that can say they have achieved as much as him. Getting bookings for Defqon 1, Transmission, dance valley, Frantic, Tidy, Goodgreef, and all the other leading promotions. Now world wide travelling to Holland, Japan, Australia and many many more, Gaz comes to make his debut performance in York in style – HARD STYLE



ORGAN DONORS


The Organ Donors have over the past 10 years unquestionably established themselves as one of the leading forces in hard dance music. Their pioneering Dex&Fx stage shows have led them to become one of the most sort after big room acts in the business. Gaining residencies at the world’s biggest stages and the boys continue to fly their flag of excellence to sell out tours. Other history in the making was headlining the first ever rave event to be held in China. Held at the Guang Zhou Olympic Stadium on NYE 2005 history was made as communist china opened its doors for the first time, and introduced 30,000 new Chinese ravers to the sounds of Western Hard Dance. Cutting up, splicing, mending, stitching, reconnecting and affecting the mix in a way neither a single dj, or a pre programmed live act can do. Working as a duo, using up to 4 decks and CDJ’s samplers, midi time code sequencers. Fx units galore and devastating scratch and turntablism techniques. The boys seamlessly time every trick, re-loop, slice, cut and remix on the fly to work the body of the mix into a highly enhanced dancing experience



ADAM M


A DJ/producer who really is quite unique. He has his own record label - Oktane records. He has his own dance promotion - Hi Oktane. As well as being spotted as a good dj by the likes of Storm, Sundissential, Insekt and Goodgreef. Adam will be playing a filth set for all you dirty clubbers who just like it damn right FILTHY!



FREEK CHILD



Freek child is made up of 2 djs - Freek Animal + Wayne Child. Freek Animal is the brother of the world-wide, The Thrillseekers. Having gained great technical skills from his brother, its not trance he plays though it’s Nu-style. Nu-style is usually deeper and more complex than early hard style, mashed out with samples and lower use of reverse bass and/or reverb. The bass is filtered and distorted to create a grungy bass drive. Many of hard style’s biggest DJs, especially those from Holland, have evolved into Nu-Style.

The riffs contain more epic melodies, they're more complicated, use chord structures and generally have a slightly trancier feel to them. The rhythm is usually in triplets or thirds giving a Skippy or marching feeling to it. Kicks incorporate ideas from gabber, with a deeper bass; they're extended longer and distorted to give a tone that changes with the chords of the melody.

For all you who like hard style but don't know much about this nu-hard style then this is the perfect opportunity for you to hear it live. Wayne will be playing the Dutch and Italian hard style so mixed together with Freek Animal it equals a hard style/nu-style mash up set.

No birthday party would be the same without Harder Timez original resident. Gaz will be playing his own breed of Hard trance that you have come to expect from Gaz's sets at a Harder Timez.
