Review of what I went to see, the talent:
Ultrablack - WTH? Live drummer? Reminded me of DJ Fu vs. Jungle Drummer. Shit was ILL like a cancer patient! Goddamn those mother fuckers KILLED THIS SHIT. THE QUEEN OF FILTH!

Louder vs. Cruz - Caught only a bit of the set but it wayyyy PHAT, Shells droppin it right on the mic, waaaaaay phat wobble from these fellahs!

CRS?, Kid Kryptic, Travelah, Killah-Ch0p! and Enzyme - :O
I haven't heard tunes that phat in a minute. BRING MORE JUNGLE!! I haven't grooved like that in a good while, I even dug the Jump Up tunes, all waaaaaaay legit. We deff need some moreeeee fucking Jungle out here ASAP!

Besides that, the vibes off the hook, party was off the hook, and talent was proper.

I thought the party was definitely nice for sure. The sound was awful in the little room though.....Horns weren't working in the top cabinets at all. Can't wait to play on a really loud and clear system out here again. However overall the party was quite good.

The main stage was really an excellent setup. Ultrablack really put it down, and the live drummer was just an even better addition. I think they've really got some potential to go places with their act. Pretty much everything I heard come off the main stage was really nice.

On the flipside, in the little room I heard Mando dropping some nice flavors. Same thing with Cik and Nexone....but just wish the sound was proper to hear it right.

Enough of me rambling...Overall good vibes, great music, and I hope good times had by those who went.

ultrablack killed the vibe for me. didnt realize until yesterday that i HATE dubstep. the live drummer was ridiculous. there should never be symbol smashing at a freakin rave. save that noise for the goth kids. unfortunately it was way too cold to escape the horrible ear rape. after they got off the stage, the party got much better i must say

no offense, but i think you guys are coming across a bit harsh on her. she didnt trash the party, she basically said she wasnt fond of the live drummer. is she not allowed to give her opinion as well? i for one happen to agree with her, i LOATHE dubstep, and for me, the party was boring. i'm not a fan of most of the music i was hearing for the short time i was there, so i dipped around 11. its probably why i didnt go to infectious audio 1 and 2 ha ha. anyway, that doesnt mean the party wasnt good, it just wasnt good for ME.

if its ok for ppl to say how much they liked the party, it should be ok for ppl who didnt enjoy it to give their opinion as well. dont put someone down just cuz they have a different opinion than you. bad form man.

I loathe hardcore but I don't talk shit about a good hardcore producer.. Sure I'll take the piss on hardcore but there are some bangers you can't deny.. shes a hater.

bahaha. well, when i was at the party, i was like, "wheres paul im sure he's in heaven" lol. you suffer through weeks of hardcore and hhc parties, so i was happy you got to finally hear some stuff you like. i wanted to jab a glowstick into my ear myself, but thats me.

haha, yes I was. Even though I don't like the music, the parties are still fun, can't hate on a good party :p Bacteria brought some diverse talent out, it's nice to see something different on the main stage besides hardcore. See ya at JKR2, Joey Riot ftw :p

i hear what youre saying. i doubt she meant any offense to ultrablack. still dont think she's retarded. i happen to agree with her, i'm not a fan of live bands at raves either. its different and interesting, but for me it doesnt fit in to my definition of a "rave". but whatev. im only so/so about a lot of electro as well. sounds more like a club than a rave but again, thats just me.
