Hello Marijuana Marchers! Saturday, June 28th, the people who brought you the Phoenix Global Marijuana March bring you... VOTE THE RIVER: A Phoenix March on Salt River! Keep SATURDAY JUNE 28TH free! Request off from work! The Phoenix Marijuana Marchers are bringing the GMM to Salt River for a summertime shindig ;-) Meetup & register to vote between 11:30am - 12:30pm. The bus LEAVES at 12:30pm! Tube rentals are $14+tax CASH ONLY and the bus ride is $10. Feel free to bring your own bumper boat/s, canoe/s, or other floating device if you do not want to rent the tubes provided. BRING H2O- it will be a long day!!!!! The focus of the event will be REGISTERING people to VOTE for the upcoming Medical Marijuana Act in Arizona, future decriminalization Acts, and of course, the presidential election-- we want YOU to vote for the candidate most likely to grant us our basic civil rights(check "Presidential Candidates Views on Medical Marijuana" blog)! Volunteers are needed to carry registration sheets and register people at the river, as well as promote the event beforehand so please comment below or message me if you'd like to participate! Bring water-proof protest signs so we can draw attention to the cause!!
