Oh be kind to your small person friends
every who maybe somebody’s mother
Be kind to every who on every speck
anyone of them might likely be your brother

Oh be kind to your small person friends
as they float around from one place to another
Remember no matter how small
a person is a person after all

STORMTROOPER happy hardcore
(United Kingdom / TNC RECORDS)

DJ Stormtrooper is, in our opinion, one of the best Hardcore producers to come out of the UK in recent years. From his imaginative solo efforts to his massive collaborations with the TNC crew, not forgetting his remix work with label boss, Robbie Long, Stormtrooper has an arsenal of original club bangers at his finger tips, ready to do the damage on the worlds dance floors every single weekend.

After passing a music technology course at college in 2001, he went on to follow his passion for DJing, forming successful old skool partnership Jedi & Stormtrooper, regularly playing at prestigious events like Raindance and Future Dance. He got bored of playing old skool, wanting to become more involved in producing and DJing new music. Tuition from hardcore legend Sharkey enhanced his production skills giving him the confidence to push forward and develop his own unique style.

Since then DJ Stormtrooper has gone on to become one of UK Hardcore's most popular recording artist. With tracks appearing on some of the biggest UK Hardcore compilations, such as Nukleuz's Hardcore Nation series, Ministry Of Sound's Hardcore Euphoria and Resist's Bonkers and Hardcore Heaven albums to name a few.

Stormtrooper now has DJ residencies on lock down with some of the country's biggest and most forward thinking promoters, such as Vibealite, Fusion and Destiny and with regular appearances at huge events like Hardcore Heaven, Uproar, HTID, Slammin' Vinyl and Freeformation, plus the international interest starting to come in from places like America, Australia, Canada and Hungry, you begin to see just how busy this bright young talent has become over the last few years.

With a hectic schedule in front of him DJ Stormtrooper is in the zone right now, doing what he loves to do – producing and djing music for party people worldwide.

PAULINA TAYLOR happy hardcore
(United States / H3)

Paulina Taylor a.k.a. Kage started in the scene back in 1991. At first he first started djing under Biohazard Productions beginning in 1994. He has always loved every genre of Techno from hardcore, jungle, and trance. He was first inspired to play Happy Hardcore after listening to a bootleg tape of Jimmy J. On the tape was a live pirate radio set from the U.K. From then on he intertwined the U.K. and Dutch sounds of Happy Hardcore together.

His specific style of pitched turntables, influenced from listening to Jimmy J's fast mix, which drove the hardcore sound to a much faster and aggressive speed. Because of this he was well respected in the hardcore scene with the likes of other hardcore djs at that time. In the middle of 1997 a newly formed group called the Happy Hardcore Hitsquad (H3) emerged. H3 helped solidify the happy hardcore sound on the map in the west coast scene.

The stage name "Paulina Taylor" came up about in 1995 as a marketing tool because most of the djs at the time were all male. So because of the style of music being more vocal he thought it would give it a little twist if the kids thought it was female dj. He never expected what would come about and the popularity, it was all in the name of fun. Thats the why earlier copies of "Smile" and "Smiling" had no contact information whatsoever. From 1995 till present, after 10 best-selling mixtapes and over 500 performances across the U.S., Paulina Taylor still manages to keep the kids smiling and bouncing!

Currently he stands strong and well respected within the Underground Culture family. After almost 10 years he still represents the ever changing and varying styles of happy hardcore. In the near future he will be producing happy hardcore so he can bring his own fresh sound to the massives.
