Borgore is a stupid cocky dj who only does it to get pussy i was WAY fucking dissapointed the only parts i liked was wen he played datsik and other peoples shit half the time all he did was just play on his little computer.... huge dissapointment i think datsik is a million times better and hes not even a really good dj mainly just a producer.

Alright, so I had to take a deep breath before posting this response and remember that when it comes to posting on the internet, people have the sense that they are experts on everything and may not necessarily think before they post...

With that in mind, I get everyone is entitled to their opinions and tastes in artists and productions which is why we try to bring out a variety of artists to UK Thursdays, with special focus on those who haven't come to AZ before...

When it comes to Borgore and MANY other artists, before tossing out the word "cocky" you must remember that at the end of the day 99% of it is a SHOW and selling an ACT...artists brand themselves as "assholes" or "sluts" because that's what SELLS and makes them appealing, adding "character" to their name.

iBERN: As far as your interaction, I'm gonna go with REV3RB and say he was a little tipsy and probably didn't hear a thing you said...hahaha :) Also if you peep his tweets he's actually given AZ a lot of props...

Anyone else think its ironic that the night is called UK Thursdays but they Book/Showcase mostly domestic (US) dubstep?

It's called UK Thursdays in reference to spotlighting UK SOUNDS, aka genres that were developed/first grew popular in the UK such as DnB, dubstep, garage, grime, & glitch, etc... and domestic (US) you mean: Excision and Datsik (Canada), Rusko, Mary Anne Hobbs, Cause & Effect and Breakage (UK), Borgore (Israel)... ???

Hmmm...this isn't really the forum to do this...but if Serato is a fail I guess artists such as ZTrip, Craze, Shortee, Makoto, Plastician, A-Trak, A-Sides, and I'm leaving out about a million other peeps (serato.com) are all failures... ???

Sure this isn't coming from a fellow DJ, but be logical here these are NATIONAL & WORLD touring artists where it is not practical or cost-effective to be lugging around crates of vinyl and these artists refuse to play on CDs/CDJs.

sam can correct me if im wrong, but i believe he was referring to statikk's comment that borgore "just played on his little computer", which is incorrect.

if you knew about the music you would understand that dub step first started in the UK...

Something gives me the feeling Mr. Statikk has no idea what he's talking about...

In my experience as a party goer for the past 5 years.. I would have to say this was one of the most quality and entertaining club shows I have ever been to. By far the best UK Thursdays has put on IMO. Borgore went above and beyond my expectations, I honestly didnt expect his mixing to be superb, but he did a lot better than i expected.. as far as entertainment value, he was definitely one of the more entertaining acts I have seen. MCing over the end of Pauls set, stage diving, playing a bit of metal at the end of his set causing moshpits, Mcing over his own tunes.. Borgore was one of the first producers to start the movement coined as "Brostep" which was a huge gateway for many producers into the darker and harder realms of dubstep... I, personally had no interest in dubstep until I started hearing Borgore's tunes about a year ago.. and since then the world of harder dubstep has blown up... I think Borgore has had a huge positive influence on dubstep and I think these kids, who have the gall to start drama on dsi and at the club itself should be thankful that they are allowed to be let into a club on Mill between the ages of 18-20. Maybe they should stick to shitty raves that get broken up, with pilled out losers everywhere... instead of a legit venue with alcohol for us big kids.... P.S. No drinks at headlining stage = FAIL but we endure this pain for the kids, which obviously isnt appreciated... also, yes Borgore does have a female, so I have no idea why you say he does this for pussy... also.. I was asked by another very respected producer how the show was regarding the mixing (which i already stated was better than i expected) and ... if he was down to get drunk and party.. which is something most dj's are expected to do.. I am glad to hear Borgore did get drunk and partied in AZ.. I am sure he had an awesome time at the show and I am proud of my state for providing him with that memory... Hats off to UK Thursdays, Borgore, and Mary.. the only complaint i have is... the ladies at the door need to get it together a bit more.. i was supposed to be comped and asked a very detailed question in which there would be no mistakes or questions that i should not have been paying.. and i paid... but its all good It was def worth my money!

P.S. Mary.. The people that think the night is great are the only people that should matter to you.. keep doing what you are doing and Ill see you on Thursday!! UK Thursdays is the best weekly AZ has seen in a long time!

Ha ha I should have never "signed in" lol

All of those producers know what they make is influenced by the UK... and.. all these artists are labeled as US Dubstep... Nero, Bukezt Finest, Doctor P. Caspa, etc... are known as UK dubstep... I suggest googling dubstep documentaries or looking into the influences of these US producers

it is the sound.. not necessarily where they reside.. I still consider Rusko UK Dubstep even though he resides in CA...

I dont see the title of the weekly as being disrespectful at all..
