As one of the countries top traveling DJ/MC combinations in drum n bass, DJ Jayvon and MC XYZ have been kept busy by a relentless touring, performance and production schedule. Just within the last year, Jayvon has taken his skills to cities such as Miami, Dallas, Indianapolis and NYC, started his own record label (Sugar Coded Recs.), has landed a hip hop DJn' residency at the Hollywood hotspot, Club Shag and landed a house music residency at the LA landmark club, The Highlands. He won the K-Swiss national DJn' competition, landed a television commerical for it and a modeling stint in magazines. His partner in rhyme MC XYZ has been no slouch either the last year. As one of the countries most traveled drum n bass MCs, MC XYZ has performed with the likes of a who's who in drum n bass (including Dieselboy, Dillinja, Shimon, Tech Itch, SS, Jayvon) in every corner of the country. He landed a residency at LA's longest running weekly, Respect and a residency in Hawaii for Pacific Bass Sessions bi-monthly. He has created and engineered the highly successful Back2Back Session Mix series and was recently featured as Musicv2's featured artist. Fester has been rockin' the Los Angeles underground since the early 1990's. He has produced many, true, old school "mixtapes" with DJ Trance (aka Jason Blakemore). He has produced various tracks with Oscar Da Grouch on a variety of labels including Turnstyle Records and N2O Records. He has traveled to play in Washington D.C., New Orleans, Texas, Arizona, Denver, New Mexico, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Calgary and Puerto Rico. His range of music is very diverse consisting of Techno, Progressive House, House, Funky Breaks, Hardcore Breaks, Ravey Breaks, Drum and Breaks, Speed Garage, Old School Techno, Acid and Drum and Bass. He has played with world famous DJ's such as Q Bert, Doc Martin, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Christopher Lawrence, Deep Dish, Bassbin Twins, Steve Loria, Jon Bishop, Ron D Core, Mr. Kool Aid, Jason Blakemore, Oscar Da Grouch, RAW, and Thee O. Whether it be a small after hour party or a massive rave, he always brings the sounds to make you move. Fester, a legendary artist of the Los Angeles underground.
