do we need to beat the dead horse while i agree with you about this... and usually only speak up when something truly appalling happens and while I dont think the particular picture is all that attractive since you are right... whatever happened to fuzzy pants and a nice shirt... people will do what they want and no matter how many times this same thread is started its only going to involve the one starting it being flamed for being supposedly unplur (when in fact you are starting the thread with all good intent) and then everyone gripes about how theres too many half naked everything around (when there really kinda is) and then somewhere someone posts the picture asking for hugs and everyone makes up... and then the thread dies and then get brought up again on the reviews for next weeks party!

While I agree with everything you have said on this... I am not touching this one with a 10 foot pole... I can go on and on about how people chose to dress differently when going out during the time I first started raving compared to now!

Who cares if girls want to go to a rave in their unmentionables?

Personally, I don't like it but I can understand.

1.) At a rave, you can be who you want to be, candy kid, drag, whore, whatever… if you don’t like the ladies in their lingerie, then don’t look at them.

Find yourself a different girl who is a little bit more complex and original in her style, there are plenty of us! (I’m relieved to those good guys who said they’d rather be with a fully clothed woman) ^_^

2.) Its fucking hot in those rooms. Guys can take off their shirts. (No fair!) If you’re complaining about the females here in CA, then go to an AZ rave in the summer, now THAT’S

If that ruins your night, then maybe you should remind yourself why you went to that rave in the first place. The friends? Favorite DJ spinning? Whatever the reason. Aren’t ravers supposed to accept people for who they are/how they dress anyway? New to the scene or not.

Sad the scene has gone main stream? It was –obviously- someone’s dream to throw a huge party. Make money. Can you blame them though? We’re awesome and people like what we do (and easily suckered into going to massives). Look how many people ended up going even though they swore they were "never going to another massive again." Massives were bound to happen sooner or later. I think it’s kind of weird how it pisses people off that the rave scene is getting so big here and yet in other countries it’s praised for being so immense. I mean Jeebus… many of our favorite DJs are from half way around the world. And they all come here to spin for *you*

And I’m so sick of hearing PLURR. It sounds like a cat got hung by piano wire and that was the last noise it made. Either you are “plur” or “not plur.” It’s not just a saying, it’s a lifestyle. And sad to say, but not everyone is loving and respectful. I believe in these sayings instead of a stupid acronym with an empty meaning:

I know that people didn’t use Myspace (or the internet in general) back in the day to promote, but… that’s because we didn’t have the technology before. We had word of mouth, and pretty pictures on a paper.

Ehh, I dunno. Maybe someday people will look at the big picture and stop picking and picking at the things they hate about parties. It just causes drama. People are who they are and they will do what they want. There are party crews who are looking to change all those things that we hate.

It's not my intention to cause more drama or simply to sound like a bitch.

Just saying how I feel and hope people could be a little more open minded and less immature. We go to raves for fun. Not to cause problems.

Anyway,
I love the music.
I love the friends that I made since I starting raving.
And the love will never die.
