this event was hands down my favorite event of the year.

we arrived at the venue around 8:30pm and saw a huge line of kids already waiting for the event to start. the event hadn't started yet but kids were being let in. 9pm rolled around and the music started with skye & pepse up first and a small rush of kids heading to the stage. they kept the kids moving through out their entire set as the venue started to fill up. zak was busy throwing down the 80's/indie goodness that i love in the smaller (chill) room and played some awesome tracks. i couldnt help but dance.

after skye & pepse finished in the main room the junkies (cik, kore & mayhem) took over with the happy gabber mash-up. this was one of my favorite sets of the night and it definitely pumped the crowd up even more.

kid orange took over in the main room @ 11 and kept the energy up. while that was going on seth myles & steve padula were tearing it up in the "chill" room. i stopped in a few times and they had the crowd in there moving, i even had to dance some more. i wish i could've caught more of this set because i was definitely digging it but i was busy wandering around throughout the crowd. the venue was filling up quickly and the temperature indoors was rising pretty fast.

by about 11:30 i needed to cool off so i went outside to rest up a bit only to walk out to a still huge line of kids waiting to get in but they were told the event was sold out. kids were only being let in as others were leaving yet everyone waited it out.

midnight comes and it was time for sixxx & starr in the main room. by now the venue was packed and the crowd was going nuts. its always fun just standing back and watching ryan & casey feeding off the energy of the crowd and vice versa. i love it.

brisk came on after ryan & casey finished up. this was the set i was waiting for and i wasnt disappointed at all. the energy in the venue was just fucking insane. so many kids dancing, blowing their whistles & horns, yelling, screaming, etc. it was fun tossing out pieces of kandie that skye & coley made for the event and throwing out the whistles too. i spent probably a good half hour trying to untangle most of them, by the way. hahahah.

after brisk was done re-con was up but i had to go outside to cool off and get some fresh air. i was really looking forward to seeing re-con spin but the heat wore me out big time and i spent alot of time outside but i did get to catch up with paul and gordon a little bit. turns out i missed re-con singing live to 'right here, right now'. im seriously kicking myself for missing that. i cant wait to see that on dvd coley. :)

most of the rest of the night was spent outside and we ended up taking brisk to coleys so he could sleep. we got back just in time to catch the tail end of jewan's and rize & the doctor's sets. the crowd outside cleared up alot but we were surprised when we walked back in to the venue to see so many kids still there rocking out. its been a long long time since ive seen so many kids still there that late and they were STILL going nuts. i took some videos of the last parts of the party including the last 2 1/2 minutes or so of the party with all the kids still dancing even after they turned on the lights to the venue.

this was the best party of the year for me and it didnt disappoint one bit.

Obviously Im new to all this so its not quite as flattering when I say it was the best event all year lol... but so far, out of the raves I've been to this was by far my favorite.

I got there at about 10 and only had to wait in line for a little while, until someone came through the line and gave me a wrist band for my presale. Always nice to have those presales = )

I really enjoyed the venue. I liked that there was only 2 stages, with emphasis obviously on the large stage in the large main room. Some of the other raves havent had enough people packed in and goin nuts in one area, but here there wasnt much of an option - Which was good! Lots more people dancing here and the whole scene just felt so right, so fun.

It did get absurdly hot but that sorta adds to it. Unfortunately that heat also drained me and along with drinking far too much water in a short period of time I became fairly ill by about 3 am. So we headed outside where I spoke to Mikey and Coley for some time... which was cool. After that my friends and I left to grab some food, it was too bad we couldnt stay for the whole time but it was a great night regardless!

Ok so I still dont know anything about all this music... but I can say I was satisfied with everything! It all sounded great and I had absolutely no trouble dancing to all of it, most made me feel quite inclined to do so in fact.

All in all It was awesome. Oh, but I would like to see you dancing next time Coley = )
