Last Saturday's huge Hard Summer festival in Los Angeles, featuring the likes of Underworld, Crookers and Tiga, was shut down by police and fire officers by 11pm. The authorities decided the all ages event, which took place at the 18,000 capacity LA Forum in Inglewood, was unsafe after seeing ravers jump from balconies onto the dancefloor and "numerous other potentially dangerous activities". US ravers smashed the country's festival attendance record last weekend at the Electric Daisy Carnival. The event, held in the LA Sports Coliseum, attracted 90,000 people for acts like Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold and the Crystal Method. The event attracted nearly 200 Don't Stay In members!!
