I don't really think you can compare a rave at MM118 with one at 5th Ave.
or another random desert vs. another random wherehouse.

They both have their pros and cons.
Just go, and decide for yourself.

With desert you have to sometimes tolerate
the pain in the ass of cops coming around
trying to see what we're all about.

If only we were so lucky as to
ALWAYS have the uniforms that showed up to SLIH,
who just told us to be safe, don't leave the party
til it was over, and have a good night!

I like venues better because of the sound quality
and the lighting you can set up to look really cool.

Desert, it's like if you're not right by the stage you're
in pitch fucking blackness and therefore it's
way easier to lose shit, get shit broken,
and generally just hurt yourself...
tripping on bushes, or getting thorny shit in your shoes
when you're trying to piss.

But I could go on forever about the differences, and you still wouldn't
take home your own personal experience UNLESS YOU JUST GO.

desert is no different XD

I wasn't saying they weren't at warehouse parties... You just have a little less notice when you're out in the desert, and then you have to figure out what's up when someone starts yelling, "cops!"
