hey who cares? whats the point of all this anyways?

ill tell ya straight up: the fact that DSI is a euro based site with parties that would blow any of US's outta the water... and yet somehow a free party with about 100 ravers with love in their heart made the front page. why?

because... thats how it starts in all corners of the world. people get together under a common interest, spend some time together, and make some memories. ye its a shit picture! but the point is that people are having as much fun there as they are at the parties that advertise headliners and cost a good chunk of change.

for one, im proud. extremely. im happy that some tucson ravers got their 5 mins of fame for supporting a party that actually is stnading for something, and is trying to make waves on the community.

hehe, you euro's probably cant relate to this, but there was a baseball game for about... 10 year olds only 100 yards away. a lot of people that were watching that wandered over for a look around and saw us partyin. some joggers saw it too. best fact: there wasnt a single bad vibe. no fights, no drunken idiots yelling. no throwing of water or whatever. all they saw were a bunch of folks in the park inviting anyone and everyone to come dance with us.

it was truely a sight to see. :]

its totally all for one and one for all.
THATS WHAT RAVINGS ALL ABOUT
and thats why i put my time and energy into it
tucson people rock... thank you tonic for making this massive recognization of the tucson scene possible :)

for reals, a guy and his three daughters came up and asked for cake which i plated with enthusiasm. one of the other girls (about 12 years old maybe) came up to me and asked, "hey what is all of this?" I told her we were just regular people that decided we wanted to play some music and dance all day today. We celebrated some birthdays and celebrated a beautiful day. We just decided here and now was a good time for an electronic music dance party."

you know what she said??

"wow, that is soooo cool."

yea, yea it is. :)

You left out the part with all the drugs....

I think this is a perfect example of why the rave scene has such a bad name... i love edm music and i love dancing to it, but i was disqusted at love 2. What i saw was a bunch of underage kids doing drugs and acting a fool...anyone in their sane mind would have to agree.

I was only there for a little bit, a guy named cojami was playing some happy hardcore...needless to say i did not hear any talent while i was there. People were dancing, but i think they would of danced to anything...

I guess i cant complain to much, it was a free party and those are when all the weirdo's and kids come out

as to if i have talent or not, thats up for everyone else to decide. it was my first time playing solo on a 2x4 and it was also my second time ever using cdj's. so... i apologize!

i agree 100% .

you have no idea what cojami can do. i know him personally enough to see him pick up a box of records filled with a genre of music he's never tried before and spit out the most amazing set. blowing the person who own's the box out of the water. his talant is far beyond yours.

next time there's a party like that, i'd like to see you get up and spin something

and for the record, no one that i was with nor myself were on drugs. i know there are some people that were inebriated but remember there's something called high on life. ravers have a whole different personality than the average person. you may have mistaken their nice-ness for being fucked up.

if that's the attitude you're going to have, than we don't want you at the parties.

keep it up state side lads and lasses take no notice of the haters they've just lost touch with wot raving all about, ITS ABOUT COMING TOGETHER (AS ONE) AND LOVING THE MUSIC,
