www.cameomiami.com 1445 Washington Avenue Miami Beach, FL 33139 in the heart of South Beach between 14th & 15th Streets The 16,000-square-foot club, housed in the historic Art Deco movie theater The Cameo, is divided into a 10,000-square-foot main room downstairs and a 6,000-square-foot, glass-enclosed VIP room upstairs that features its own sound system and DJ. A catwalk around the perimeter of the second level offers bottle service at curtained banquettes and excellent views of the action below. A giant DJ booth looms down in front of a vast plexi-glass wall illuminated by silhouettes of whirling industrial fans. For serious dancers or those who enjoy being among the throbbing masses as they celebrated the most progressive music in a visually stunning environment, the downstairs main room is the ticket. For those who prefer to party among the beautiful people the upstairs VIP room is an excursion into another world. Either way, Cameo is a stylish sanctuary for high-octane partying.
