This month I have the pleasure to be featuring one of the biggest trance producers in the past few yards and the scene's leading name from South America. With an exclusive 1 hour guest mix and interview, I welcome to Ascension... FABIO STEIN.




Voted by Judge Jules as his Breakthrough DJ for 2008 in DJ Mag Top 100 poll and also voted in Trance Addicts top 250, Fabio Stein is firmly stamping his name on the global trance circuit. Production so f his include the monstrous tracks 'Panic Mode', 'State of Trance' and 'Tran-4', as well as well infectious remixes including 'Without Love' (Judge Jules), 'Punk'd' (Sander Van Doorn) 'Magnitude' (Johan Gielen) and my personal favourite 'Generate The Wave' (Dave 202).

To date Fabio has had his work signed to leading labels such Maelstrom, Discover, Tunes For You (Black Hole) and Oxygen (Spinnin'). His track shave also featured on compilations including 'Cream Ibiza', 'Judgement Sundays - The True Sound of Ibiza', 'Live As... Vol III', 'Gatecrasher Immortal', 'The World's Greatest Trance' and 'Godskitchen - Global Gathering'.

The result of his energetic performances and productions was a huge list of DJ support including Paul van Dyk, Judge Jules, Johan Gielen, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Yoji Biomehanika, Marcel Woods, Mark Sherry, John Askew, Matt Darrey, Agnelli & Nelson, Gareth Emery, John O’Callaghan and Graham Gold to name a few.

In 2002, Fabio moved back to Brazil and met with DJ Jack to become part of trance phenomenon Energy BR, responsible for club event State of Trance (not linked to Armin's radio show) which has become the biggest in South America.
