MR MIAMI here, I thought i'd write you a quick giude on what to expect from Miami 2007!

Every year there is about 200 or so parties spread over 5 or so days up and down South Beach and Downtown Miami around mid to end of March and although alot of networking and business goes on ultimately it's about the parties!

First off most of us will be living or frequenting around South Beach not miami beach which is further up north like. You will find yourselves anywhere between 22nd -1st street and on the 3 MAIN STREETS RUNNING PARALLEL WITH EACH OTHER KNOWN AS COLLINS AVE, WASHINGTON AVE AND OCEAN DRIVE.

THE WEATHER WILL BETWEEN 70-80F the whole time we are there maybe warmer

OCEAN DRIVE - Home of Nikki Beach Club, Versace's yard, wicked restaurants, Bar's like fat Tuesdays and Wet Willies and of The Clevelander (where i am playing by the way). It also has nice Hotels right on the beach. I call this street KENSINGTON HIGH STREET

COLLINS AVE - This is Hotel Central includes Surfcomber Hotel (Home of M3) and the sunset sessions from 22nd -26th. As well as this most of the hotels stretch right down the beach an awesome sight! There are loads of shops but no malls down here but all the HOTEL PARTIES are down here. SHORE CLUB, NATIONAL, DELANO, SAGAMORE, RALEIGHROOFTOPS AT THE TOWNHOUSE AND HOTEL SOUTH BEACH AND MY FAV HOTEL LOEWS

WASHINGTON AVE - This street is where a lot of CLUBS are like CROBAR, MANSION, BASH, OPIUM GARDENS, JAZID etc..... It has also has shops , fast food galore and Toni' T's (badboy Thai place) but also has a couple of nice spost too so I call this West End.

Some tips...

1) Always carry single dollar bulls for tips, quick buys like drinks this is my fav and most important cabs....cabs love to say they don't have change for a $20 or a $50 so hit em with the singles.

2) Always carry your PASSPORT or SOLID ID. You will find most places you go require ID not because of how old you look it's the law out there.

3) On the way out there do not drink TOOO MUCH!!!! you will know about it when you get off the plane. Get used to seeing that alot!

4) Springbreak - America is on springbreak so all the cold places mainly head to south beach and will be in a lot of the hotels you are staying in. They are not aliens but young vibrant people out to break loose in their 3-5 day hols and boy do they break loose...most of em are into RnB so beware.

5) Well laid plans- Make a personal printable list of parties you want to go by using the M3 masterlist and WMC list (links are in the Miami 2006 group). Although by the end of the conference you will only go where your body will allow you to go not your head.

6) Rain- it PISSES down at least one day whilst we are out there so watch out this rain comes DOWN!!!! but stays humid though!!

7) Shopping and eating loads of beach n bikini shops and places to buy useful stuff from quite cheap in alot of instances too. Malls are a bus ride or cab ride away but worth the journey (Aventura is quite popular).

8) Spontaneous Guestlists.... Miami is all about makiing connections and good relationships from clubbers to industry heads so you may find yourself in some wicked parties because you met the right people involved with it and it was not on your plans..

9) Daily cycle-get up-shower-eat-beach-pool party-home -shower-eat party-get up.....

10) Drinks and Frozen Alcohol drinks - drinks menu - they are like the best drinks EVER guaranteeing drunkardness after one whole drink..they hurt alot do frozen drinks but trhey are QUALITY!!! a little like slush puppies with a kick!!!

11) WATCH THE STREET CAREFULL BEFORE CROSSING AS THEY DRIVE ON THE WRONG SIDE OVER THERE...YOU WILL have to take a min to make sure you are not gonna get hit;-)

12) Current exchange rate is about 1.00 GBP
United Kingdom Pounds = 1.95015 USD
United States Dollars not too bad!!!

13) Make sure you have some groups or people you want to distress back home like I do for long talking the fact they were coming and did not!!! Take pics with their name on a big piece of paper callin them out for not coming with us.

14) Restaurants and other things like watching NBA Basketball are a must and serious fun and Ocean Drive and parts of Washington come highly recommended for eating.

LOTS OF WICKED PARTIES EVERYDAY MAKE SURE WE TAKE LOADS OF PICS and stay alert at night.

DOOR MONEY IS CHEAP IN MIAMI IF YOU CLEAR MORE THAN $200 ON DOOR MONEY YOU ARE BEING RAPED
