Taking advantage of the majestic architecture of a renovated theater from the 20's, eleven50 is a truly breathtaking club that hosts some of the world's top touring DJs. Upon entering eleven50, you are immediately whisked into the main room where DJs suchs as Little Louie Vega, John Digweed, and Mark Farina have rocked the best DJ booth in Atlanta. Grab a drink at the sprawling main bar and head up to the second floor balcony to get the best view of the dancefloor, the always extravagant drag queens and dancers, and the DJ. If casual conversation is more your style, dip into the gallery for a peak at the rotating art work on display. When the weather is warm, the doors of Acqua swing open, and Atlanta gets a delicious taste of South Beach. The reflecting pool is surrounded by elegant white leather booths that provide easy access to the two Acqua bars, and the upper deck provides plenty of private seating as well. The dress code is casual, but a sense of style is always encouraged.
