The line by 11 pm is usually half way down the block with peeps trying to get in, and because the weather in Chicago that night was warm most House headz came with their lite-fly party gear on. A very interesting night with so many cool and local names. It was a mixture of Old School and New and the Jocks brought it all together. Angel Ones Greg K and my boy DJ Chance Started the set with dope house classics and mixes that made Jaws drop! Followed by yours truly bringing some funky soulful grooves that lubed the dance floor. Crank a Chicago Resident and frequent DJ at Zentra mixed up some sweet groovy jazzy Latin soulful beats. The Infamous Vinyl Bitchie (Melodic Voyage) fresh from St. Louis continues to amaze the crowds with beauty and pure funk! Sparrow who's has been holding it down with the most talked about, most popular night in Columbus, Ohio for over 6 years with Restart House Music blew minds with tracks and tricks that peeps where screaming about after the club closed. LiKuid from St. Louis accented the night with Afro-Latin drumbeats. Two of Chicago's pioneers of house music Paul Johnson and Roy Davis Jr Rallied up the talent to fine tune any of the love that was missed. Incredible! Many local faces graced the night including Lady D and Ron Carroll. It was the love of true House music.
