I just returned from the DJ’s Mecca of House Music, “The Winter Music Conference” in Miami. While there it was like a non-stop party with tons of people and thousands of DJ’s. I hit all of the real house music party’s and wanted to get the vibe and the new pulse of house hits that has been making the world turn. Of course I wanted to bring that WMC feeling back to St. Louis but it was a little tough. The weather was angry in the LOU and the area colleges are taking their finals so the turn out all week has been very lite. But not to worry, for the die hard house fans were there in numbers and my set was incredible. A very special thanks to DJ Fizzy Logic who started the set making the mood perfect. (The Awesome One was running very late due to weather and travel from Chicago) My boy Likuid kept the rhythms nice and tribal all night by bangin’ da drums. My support team and very good friends, the local yokels and the staff are my biggest fans and include Melody Lane, Mi, Boz, Jux, Vinyl Bitchie and Likuid. For those who missed the Global Therapy on April 10th 2008 let me tell you all about it. It was totally Soulful with fresh new tunes from London, Paris, Germany, South America, the US and more. The rhythms and the mood were mos def designed with South Beach in mind. The only thing missing were the bikini’s and the warm weather. A definite night to remember! See you again on the second Thursday of May. Maybe then it will be warmer and we can get some bikinis to come out... :-)
