Beautiful People, Beautiful setting..Great Night!
I landed in Las Vegas on Fri 12th Nov at about 11pm - got a taxi to the hotel, freshed up and asked around for where to go out clubbing.

The one and only place that rolled of Vegas regulars tongues was The After Party at Drais - the only place in Vegas where after parties begin and lead you astray...you can literally roll out of one club event to another from 9pm all the way trough to 9pm the following night!

Having lost my drivers license I had to take my passport out with me, despite me being 29 and looking aver 21 years of age it makes no diference....you MUST take your ID out with you - Doormen from any club will not allow you on the premises if you havent got Picture ID with you [if they dont recognise you].

We got to the club at 3.45am and the queue already lead half way through the Barbary Coast Casino. If I had hung around the end of the queue (aka "line") I'd have been waiting at least another hour before getting in. If you dont mind queuing then hang about, if however you are more like me, impatient and in a hurry to get to the dancefloor, you can talk to the head doorman, who, if he likes the look of you and your company, will let you in, past the queue, adding a surcharge to your entry fee. Hint and Tip: Get on well with the bouncers, and be back in the club without queuing or paying a surcharge for every evening you want to go to an afterparty thereafter!

The music started funky - great funky house vocals and leading to a more deeper and progressive house beats.

The people were great - really friendly but on the dance floor lots of weird dances going on! I had an absolutely fab night...We left the club having made a mountains of new clubbing mates!

Definately recommend it to anyone visiting Las Vegas.

Hey Toxic - youre right - it was a great place for the afterparties. The bouncers were great once we got to know them! - I havent put all the pics up yet - they should all be on soon - The cuban guy is in the photos from Monday night at the Foundation Rooms - take a look - We bumped into the same people alot of the time - most of the people we saw on the first night, we tended to bump into in all teh otehr venues throughout the same week. Getting to know the locals (such as CJ) meant free entry into clubs and after parties!

Vegas was a blast and i think i will probably make it a destination i will prob visit quite frequently - its cheap to get to and stay in - the only bad thing is the flight!...its a long way away from home....and feels like forever to get to.

One thing I learnt about Vegas was that It Never Sleeps!...Its a non-stop party!
