Jordan Rivera - Alegria Musical (Ospina Digital)
Out of Amsterdam, Jordan Rivera brings us Alegria Musical released on Ospina Digital. We seem to be spoiled for choice with this release, with six different mixes included. Although each mix has its own individual style, a deep Afro vibe runs through every track linking them altogether rather nicely. The Afro beat theme is most heavily felt in the main mix, whilst a more carnival, Latin sound appears in the remix from Ospina and Oscar P and then also in the Norty Cotto mix. With such a good range of mixes, there should always be at least one track on here that will easily capture the mood on any dancefloor. (RD)

Melnyk has achieved wide-spread critical acclaim in the UK for his debut album "Silence". His remix of the Pet Shop Boys comeback single "I'm With Stupid" has also been a best seller across Europe. His remix credits include Pet Shop Boys, My Robot Friend, Temposhark + a host of others.



Producers Granite and Phunk have emerged as the hot new thing to watch for in 2006.

Who/What inspires you musically and why?
The list would be much too long. Lets go with current here - Mylo, Axwell, Snow Patrol, and Kasabian. These acts make music exciting and in turn, that helps us out.

Looking back what has been your best memory so far?
When we were introduced to Roger Sanchez was a big moment for us. Also, getting feedback on our productions every weekend from around the world is creating some cool memories for us.

DJ DRC
San Francisco DJ DRC takes the Electronic Dance Community storm in her new release "The Rhythm" , co-produced with Mike Giannini on Knob Records. She also has releases on IMIX, Vision Music, Off World, Merge, Twin Soul, sfhousemusic.com, ingrooves.com and her own label Undefined Musik. DRC & Chris Demetras, under the name "Ars Nova," are finalizing a full-length album as well. The album will highlight DRCs vocal and song-writing talents, as well feature her on base on some of the tracks.
DRCs original music is also featured in "Vision of Vibe" with Carl Cox and "Intellect" featuring Paul Van Dyk. With all this under her belt and more, it is obvious DRC has her finger on the pulse of this fast pace music industry!
