On an unassuming street in Manhattan's garment district, a crowd gathers late night, looking for a door- once found and inside, the hall reverberates with the sounds of dance music and a very vibrant crowd. Four floors and a roof top garden are host to this legendary underground party. Behind the party are masterminds; DJ and music industry veteran Timmy Regisford and Freddy Sanon, owner of the House label "Shelter Records." Club Shelter is synonymous with HOUSE music and that is synonymous with a demographic following that is unique. 21-40 years of age, affluent, trendsetter's and tastemakers, the Club Shelter "membership" is the most desirable market in the club world.
