Fucking Mayday...
Of course ANOTHER Tucson rave gets shut down BEFORE the headliner...Didn't get to see Scott Brown :(

My group was lucky and showed up WAYYY early (like 7:40) so it getting shut down at like 2:00 wasen't bad for us BUT I heard people showed up at like 1 and still had to pay the full 30...that sucks.

What a bunch of BS..plus they had a freaking helicopter shining its light on us for like 15 minutes

Haha the ravers flashing the middle finger and the hearts would have been an awesome above picture LOL

I had A LOT of fun and met some awesome new peeps. The vibes were AMAZING..but from the constant shut downs, Tucson raves are not my thing and im gonna stick with my home town PHOENIX!!!!

I guess Im the only one who has some respect for cops. And Im really not ashaimed to say that. I mean, there are good and bad cops. It sucks that they always send the bad ones to shut down our parties, hahaha. I agree that the Tucson PD got out of hand this time though!
I'm pretty pissed that they shut down Mayday, I would like to know why. Being too loud? Oh geeze, they've had huge concerts/festivals louder than Mayday!

I've been to a few shut down parties, and the cops haven't been disrespectful to me, or the people who were with me. When Bloodfest got shut down (just to name one that most of us were at), the PhxPD were REALLY respectful towards me, Shakespeare and everyone else who was with us. Maybe it was because we treated them with respect, so they treated us with respect also. The PhxPD politley asked us to leave, and they weren't pushy or anything. I personally asked one of them why the party got shut down and he gave me a straight up answer with no hostility. Then he told us to leave before things got out of hand, and he even offered to walk us back to our cars. When we declined, he wished us a good night and told us to be safe.
I mean, I think it's pretty dumb how many ravers keep saying "oh, repesct! respect to everyone! I respect everyone!" yet, they pick and choose thier "everyone" to respect. Yeah, some cops can be pretty damn bitchy (thank goodness I haven't had a run in with one:) but I mean, come on, be the bigger person and don't be bitchy back. Supposedly raves are where you can go and be respected, but someone such as an "authority figure" can't seem to go in and be respected.

Come on guys, lets be the kick ass people we are, and not be so hostile next time :D
