    N-Town Live

    Fri 18 April at 07:45pm until Fri 18 April 2014 at 11:30pm

N-Town Live is quickly becoming one of the most talked about nights in the musical calendar. Following last year’s sell out show this event returns with a line-up bursting at the seams with some of the county’s finest artists. Only £5 per ticket for what promises to be a great night of live music! Greg Coulson: www.gregcoulson.co.uk Greg has been writing his own material for the past six years and has relished in the opportunity to recently record his debut album. Working alongside Stuart Dixon (Dani Wilde and Eddie Floyd), 2014 will be a busy year for the 22 year old blues singer/songwriter as he begins another exciting musical journey producing and promoting the new album. “I’ve been working really hard to write a good selection of Rhythm and Blues tracks. I’ve got this vision to separate myself from my contemporaries, the R&B scene at the moment is mainly guitar led, I really wanted to change that and put the big growling sound of the Hammond centre stage where it belongs. Too long has it been sat in the wings – this has been such an ambition for me, I’ve loved putting that instrument at the forefront of my writing.” Luke Girvan: www.lukegirvan.com With 3 single releases under his belt, appearances at London 2012 and a tour (or two) of the UK – Luke’s debut album ‘Take me to the Doctor' unleashed his unique style and audacious sound upon British audiences throughout 2013. Luke is currently working on a follow up EP with singles being released Spring/Summer 2014 in a joint venture with a new exciting record label. The release of new music heralds the next stage for our intrepid troubadour, whose unflinchingly energetic offerings underline his position, as one of the UK’s most charismatic performers. “I always love a great home town show and I can tell that this one is going to be a belter!” Korda Marshall: www.facebook.com/kordamarshall Korda Marshall are an explosive pop rock band. The critically acclaimed progressive rock singer/songwriter, and former lead singer of Marillion comes to The Roadmender, Northampton. With an extensive 13-date UK tour billed as "The Moveable Feast Tour" the UK trek is named after Fish's upcoming album "A Feast Of Consequences", which is now exclusively available for pre-order from his official website: http://fishheadsclub.com/ Fish came to the public's attention in 1981 with Marillion. Since then Fish has ploughed an amazingly eclectic furrow, actor, author, solo performer and songwriter. Fish has sometimes been compared to Peter Gabriel, lead singer of Genesis in the 1970s. Music journalist David Hepworth described his voice as a “conflation of Roger Daltrey and Peter Gabriels. Fish will perform songs from the new album, as well as his solo album tracks, including early Marillion classics.
