In late 2010, The Nest opened in an intimate, 350 capacity basement in Dalston. With the aim to create a new clubbing space focused on progressive electronic music, with forward thinking line-ups, quality sound and a captivating atmosphere, the creative minds behind the venue set to work on achieving just that.

Installing a huge Martin Audio soundsystem and minimal lighting designed to take control of the neo-industrial style and intimate dancefloor, The Nest is home to some of the most prolific club nights in London. From Chase and Status’ raucous, bass heavy MTA Records parties, to Scandalism’s monthly residency and the new Saturday night Lemonade, which showcases the best in live and DJ led electro/indie/disco, the quality programming never disappoints. Promising cheap entry prices for in-house events put together by The Nest’s creative team as well as the monthly residencies, The Nest provides forward-thinking, exciting events accessible to everyone.

  1. New Years Eve...ONEMAN + TASKER + YASMIN + JON RUST image

    Wed 31 December at 09:00pm until Thu 01 January 2015 at 04:00am

It’s a great pleasure to announce Oneman will head our New Years Eve celebrations. One of the biggest dates on our calendar, we can’t wait to have the London-native play this NYE homecoming show. Having risen through the ranks of the city’s pirate radio culture, Oneman’s bass-driven blend of everything from grime, UK Funky and garage to house and hip-hop will no doubt give 2014 a suitably raucous send-off.

    Fri 09 January at 10:00pm until Sat 10 January 2015 at 04:00am

London legend Ms. Dynamite makes a triumphant return to The Nest this January to do what she does best and turn things up to 11. With recent tracks 'Cloud 9' and 'Dibby Dibby Sound' alongside more old school classics like 'What You Talking About', 'Lights Off' and 'Wile Out' as well as her breakthrough garage numbers, it's fair to say that D isn't short on party starters. And with East London crew Shorebitch providing the support, this party is only going to go one way...

  4. Mala image

    Fri 23 January at 10:00pm until Sat 24 January 2015 at 04:00am

When you think of the origins of dubstep, a couple of names spring to mind. One is Skream and the other, invariably, is Mala. Long fighting the fight to protect his beloved genre against its bastardization by people across the pond, Mala's work with DMZ and as Digital Mystikz still resonates today. He came back with the superb 'Mala in Cuba' in 2012, which was a testament, if one was needed, of the enduring and malleable presence of 140bpm, and how it's not going to die any time soon. His set at The Nest should be a moment to remember.
