LINE UP Steve Lawler Darius Syrossian Detlef Steve Lawler’s internationally renowned tech house label and agency returns to Leeds on December 7th for a big blow out at The Warehouse Leeds. Joining the boss will be Darius Syrossian and Detlef. Steve Lawler needs no introduction, but he certainly warrants one. As a DJ he spins all over the world, seamlessly plotting dancefloor stories that lean on house, techno and more, whilst as a label boss at VIVa he has built an empire of producers each with their own voice. VIVa MUSiC works as a culmination of everything that’s gone before; from the putting on of the aforementioned illegal raves, to his residency at super club Cream back in the mid 90ʼs. He’s remixed high profile artists such as Jamelia, Dido and Justin Timberlake and worked with many of the worlds renowned dance imprints. As well as recording a track for the blockbuster horror movie by Ian Softly ʻThe Skeleton Keyʼ, he’s released some of the industry’s most collectable mix series such as the ʻDark Drumsʼ, ʻLights Outʼ and, most recently, the ʻVIVaʼ series. Leeds legend Darius Syrossian has really risen to the top of the pile in recent years. His tech house vibe is one loved by the likes of Heidi (who signed Darius to her Jackathon comp) and DJ Sneak (who used a track of his on his fabric) but also Steve Lawler who holds him as one of the key cogs in his VIVa Music wheel. Darius plays everywhere from WMC to Sankeys to both Americas so is a revered guest indeed who has also mixed his own compilation for VIVa. Completing the line-up is breaking through Grecian talent, Detlef.
