Re-launched in September 2012, XOYO is first and foremost a nightclub. With focus set on a consistent music policy headed by global names (as well as upcomers): our ethos is locked into delivering London an unrivalled weekend soundtrack. Located at the heart of Shoreditch, the club has defined itself as a prime late-night destination programming a future-forward-thinking roster of artists.

Driven by a young, passionate team and headed by Andy Peyton (South West 4 Festival, Scandalism, Together @ Amnesia); we put every effort into creating a next-level clubbing experience motivated by an aspirational musical vision. Where Friday nights are held by some of the most cutting-edge line-ups, Saturdays go to London’s top promoters. Outside the club’s unfailing weekend diary, XOYO has no time to sleep as doors are open to a killer calendar of live music.

Housed across two floors (the top being sister-bar The Shoreditch Butchery) and with prolific street artist Vhils behind the interior’s aesthetic, we’re proud to be an incredible platform for London’s clubbers.

    Sat 31 January at 09:00pm until Sun 01 February 2015 at 04:00am

One of dance music’s most influential and important figureheads, we're delighted to announce Skream as XOYO’s first resident of 2015. Skream’s path through clubland and its genres has taken him on an unexpected journey; from his beginnings at Big Apple Records to topping the charts as part of Magnetic Man and holding down Radio 1 residencies, he’s the poster boy for contemporary British music. This is our ode to pirate radio and the most British of genres; garage. Stopping by for this extra special date will a selection of pioineers, all of whom are rightfully held in legendary status among their peers. Having been running things since day one, Wookie’s beloved ‘Scrappy’ still kicks like nobody’s business, and he will be complimented by grime godfather Slimzee, the most entertaining DJ in the business EZ and everybody’s favourite garage troupe Heartless Crew.

Music Remedy presents: Hackman & Klaves @ XOYO

    Thu 05 February at 10:00pm until Fri 06 February 2015 at 03:00am

Music Remedy presents: Hackman (2020Vision/Futureboogie Recordings) Klaves (PMR) Supported by MR Residents: Timoren 2Kind Music Remedy is returning after sellout success at our London launch in November. This time we’ll be taking over XOYO’s room 2 with special guests Hackman & Klaves. We invite you to join us for another massive night showcasing two of the most exciting up and coming young talents at the moment. Thursday is the new Friday so you really have no excuse…. **LINE-UP** Hackman DJ/producer Hackman has been one of the most rewarding artists to emerge from the UK’s ever-shifting dance music landscape in recent years. Hackman’s impressive list of productions include remixing duties for artists such as TEED, Lana Del Rey, London Grammar and a string of other vocalists and producers. Perhaps most well-known for his ‘Change My Life’ EP released last year, in 2014 Hackman’s vocally textured and melody driven productions continue to explore the realms of breezy percussive house never failing to excite and encapsulate the crowds and critics alike. Having previously released singles and EPs via well respected imprints Greco Roman, Well Rounded and Futureboogie Records and following the success of his ‘Carry On’ EP recently dropping on 2020Vision things are only moving on up for this young producer. We are certainly extremely excited to welcome him to Music Remedy! Klaves 22 year old Klaves is a young polish prodigy who is on a remarkably promising path, which can be seen through his love of music from a young age, sifting through his parents jazz collection to mastering the art of piano. He has recently released his debut EP ‘People/Oh No’ through PMR, known to many as the house of Disclosure, Jessie Ware and Julio Bashmore, which has had an abundance of support pouring in thick and fast from the likes of Skream, Annie Mac and Tensnake. Klaves’ melodic wizardry, expertly sharp vocal cuts and moulding of airy percussion and harmoniously unforgettable synths have also got the likes of i-D, FACT and Resident Advisor labelling him as one to keep a very fervent eye on in coming months.

TODDLA T + BOYS NOIZE (ACID SET)

    Fri 06 February at 09:00pm until Sat 07 February 2015 at 04:00am

Some of our most memorable nights at the club have come thanks to Sheffield's finest DJ Toddla T, and for this special outing he's invited one of Europe's premier party starters Boys Noize for an acid-only set. Drawing heavily from house and electro, this will serve as an interesting diversion for Boys Noize, whose reputation has been furthered by his tireless remix work (Danny Brown and Depeche Mode are recent subjects) and his frequent collaborations with Erol Alkan. His set with T should be one for the history books.

Skream’s path through clubland and its genres has taken him on an unexpected journey; from his beginnings at Big Apple Records to topping the charts as part of Magnetic Man and holding down Radio 1 residencies, he’s the poster boy for contemporary British music. As one of the founding fathers of the now global phenomenon of dubstep, Skream has since taken a step back, moving away from his Croydon roots to more disco and house-tinged sounds. This has also stretched to his shows where he’s no longer seen playing any of the music that gave him his first break, but we’ve convinced him into bringing it all back for a big one off reunion as part of the residency. For one night only, he’ll welcome back all of his friends from the scene for a night that will be celebratory and nostalgic in equal measure.

Upping the disco game for this one are loveable duo Soul Clap, who captured hearts and minds back in 2011 thanks to their colourful collaborative DJ-Kicks mix with Wolf & Lamb. Chiefly regarded as bringing the party and fun vibes in equal measure, you’d be hard pressed to stop smiling when these two take to the decks. Upstairs will be a special father and son occasion, as Harri from Sub Club will be playing alongside his boy Jasper in what promises to be a pretty emotional one. Make sure you have a fresh pack of Kleenex in the pocket.

  8. Hannah Wants image

    Hannah Wants

    Fri 06 March at 09:00pm until Sat 07 March 2015 at 04:00am

Hannah Wants has made her name as a pure and simple party DJ. Her quick mixing style bears semblance to EZ, yet is still wholely her own. Since breaking the UK circuit she has gone on to build a reputation in Ibiza, and in April 2013, Hannah’s track ‘Dappy’ with Chris Lorenzo was released through Food Music. It found worldwide success and support and firmly established Hannah as a musical force to be reckoned with ahead of her headline What Hannah Wants tour. She releases a bi-monthly 24+ track ‘mixtape’ on her SoundCloud page as a free download which showcases her favourite current tracks, and she has teamed up with Lorenzo again on new track 'Rhymes', which follows on the garage/bass/hhouse hybrid that has brought her so much success as a party DJ up until now.

Tania Vulcano is the undisputed queen of Ibiza. Going into her tenth year on the party island, she is a resident at its two biggest clubs, Circo Loco at DC-10 and Space. Regularly nominated for Best DJ awards and with strong advocates Pete Tong and Tino Maas championing her every move, we can’t wait to taste a little bit of Ibiza right here in our Shoreditch basement. With her comes Asadinho, a man of mystery who has nevertheless been round the block more than a few times. With a stack of releases in his back catalogue and with over two decades of experience DJing around the world, he has the kind of chops that should accompany Tania down to the ground.
