Looks shit. Full of foreigners. Fuck that.

The world offers me 4 holidays a year. Just eastern europe isn't one of the locations I would pick. So fuck you.

I would say that you have never been to Serbia or south eastern Europe, by having this negative thoughts about it you are missing a lot in your life. If I have 1 day of holiday in my life, I would go to EXIT festival! So, first try it than comment it, please!

Exit is meant to be sooooooo amazing. I've heard nothing but good things about it, both about the festival music & general organisation but the people too...the Serbians are meant to be uber nice.

Yes they are totally accommodating we ended up staying four days after the festival with some serbians we met who took us to a few of the village parties and some barge parties.
It is about 50p for a drink and about 2 pound for a three course meal. The women are beautiful and i must say as someone who has been to lots of festivals you cant beat a european crowd.

Has anyone been to Roskiljde in denmark would like to here from anyone who has as im thinking of going there

Kat when i was in Croatia last July loads of people at the garden fest went straight to Exit after, and the dates work out the same this year so maybe we could squeeze in both while we're out there!

Oh good lord, I think I'm too old for that! Hahaha.

We're going to go to Split afterwards for 3 or 4 days for chill out by the sea.

May I also recomend HVAR, KORCULA and Zlatni Rat as destinations for you to visit in croatia. Also, on your way thtrough croatia check out this ammazing park called Plitvice... The best waterfalls in Europe... ;)

Plus we have another mansion party in London coming up in the next few months...

HVAR,

Good call, i spent a day there last summer - beautiful! I read about those waterfalls too but didn't have time to check them out, will have to try and do that this year. Do you know if there's much to check out around Zagreb? Just trying to figure out for flight destinations!

I was wondering if it was feasible after Amy told me about Garden... I think it's do-able technically, I'm just not sure if I'm up to it physically!

From exit site:
1. UK Festival Awards 2007, together with Yourope, the European Association of the 40 largest festivals in Europe, has awarded EXIT as the Best European Festival. International public vote on the Internet chose the Best European Festival among the nominees listing FIB Benicassim (Spain), Roskilde (Denmark), Hultsfred (Sweden), Les Eurockeennes de Belfort (France), Pinkpop, Lowlands (the Netherlands), Quart Festival (Norway), Pukkelpop and Rock Werchter (Belgium).
http://www.festivalawards.com/index.cfm?section=awards

2. Early 2006, British weekly The Observer recommended EXIT festival as the best in the world and an absolute must-see, while in May this year MSN.com, second most visited website in the world, listed EXIT fourth in their world's festivals top list.

3. The prominent British daily The Guardian compiled a list of 12 most exciting touristic destinations and events, which are a must in 2008 – one destination for each month.
According to this daily newspaper, the destination for July is Serbia, or more precisely Novi Sad, since the Exit festival takes place in this city. Apart from Serbia, the list also contains Liverpool, Ghana, Verbier (Switzerland), Inverness (Scotland), Oslo, Morocco, Mongolia, Mumbai, San Francisco, Washington DC, and Whistler (Canada).

Is this enough? So, dont listen to ignoramuses as peachystew-PAB! Come 2 Serbia/EXIT and check it yourself or ask people who already been about their impressions.
I already bought the ticket so i'll b there! 175 days left %-))
And by the way, yugoslavia doesn't exist anymore :)

Im coming too, sick of people letting me down every year, gunna book me and the mrs and make it happen, dont care whos on the lineup, its always ace anyway!!

Im gunna peck you all now, is the journey from Budapest feasible in a taxi/train or should i make the effort and fly direct to belgrade (heathrow is a ballache for me) or just get an indirect flight to belgrade through prague or zurich!

Im gunna get a hotel in novi sad, is that the general consensus!

Sorry, im an ardent festival goer, just an exit virgin!
